I have just relocated to a new suburb in my town, and called up yesterday to have my home broadband and phone connection transferred to the new house. I recieved a call this morning to inform me that I will not be able to recieve broadband because there is no ports available for 3-6 months. I had to cancel my services as i didnt want to be paying through the nose for something that i wont be able to get any more.
Telstra is the main service provider in my town and have an exhange less than a kilometre away from my house and cannot provide a decent service a number of people in town. I was informed i could opt for a mobile wireless broadband
but your wireless bundles wont meet the demand of my household and are way too expensive, so i had no choice but to cancel my phoneline and broadband services as they are now useless.
