I am about to move into my new apartment as an owner. When I enter the property address into your availability checker it shows as cable is active in the area and I can order it, however, when I enter my unit number and the property address it only shows me ADSL 2.
A bit of background:
Cable is available in the street, it was available to the houses that previously sat on this land, its available at neighbouring properties but not mine.
I have spoken to the builders and even the building data/electrical guy who both advised the building has been pre-wired for foxtel cable and cable internet.
I am at a loss as to why I have wasted 4 hours on the phone to try and order my new cable broadband. My family has been customers of Telstra for years and have been extremely patient with recent outages but I am losing my patience.
Please let me know what I can do to get cable available.
