Any clues on this one would be appreciated.
Setup: Netgear Wireless Cable Gateway CG3100D-2
Approximately a week ago - performance to Gmail from multiple home computers and iphones via wifi dropped to zero. In addition - some applications that connect to live streaming datafeeds for futures charting data keep timing out at connection.
General browsing otherwise is fine.
Troubleshooting:
1. Unplugged all connections from the cable modem
2. Connected a laptop directly to the cable modem (via lead) - eliminating potential wifi issues - problems still occur
3. Speedtest.net - reports 33Mbps down, 1.1mbps up
4. Connect to cable modem via wifi - problems still occur
5. Disconnected from cable modem - connect to telstra 4G modem via wi-fi = no issue with apps/gmail/etc,
6. Speed test.net reports 11Mbps down and 0.6Mbps up
