We had an appointment with an NBN Technician on Dec 23 to check if we can get NBN via the tower installed in our area. We are unsure because we do not have " line of sight".
The Technician cancelled the appointment but Telstra went ahead and switched off our ADSL.
The next appointment was also cancelled by the Technician. We now have to wait until Feb before the third appointment.
So after numerous calls to Telstra and conflicting information and assurances we still do not have Internet connection to our home. It seems impossible to get ADSL reconnected when NBN is available.
We are about to report the situation to the ombudsman as Telstra has refused to supply Internet to our home since Dec 23.
Why were we disconnected before the Technician had checked if we had coverage?
