Not only did the new Telstra gateway modem/router fail to increase my ADLS2+ speed but it has now stopped working. Although all lights are green I have no internet and no wi-fi. I cannot even access the unit via ethernet at 10.0.0.138!! I am too busy at the moment to delve further, e.g. re-set unit to original condition etc. To add insult to injury I was charged $9.95 delivery fee for the now non functioning unit, which I never really wanted!! I was told that no further action could be taken until I had updated my modem to a current Telsta unit.
In order to use both internet and wi-fi I have re-installed my origonal Speedstream modem and Netgear router. Everything now functions normally.
Having spent three to four hours on three seperate phone calls to tech support I am reluctant to go there again as I just seem to be go round in circles, finishing with 'what you have is the best you can expect'.
