Re: Gateway modem and connection is rubbish!

I have the same problem. I had a free TG797nv3 gateway modem when I signed the contract. A few months later, my internet was gone. I called service centre they said there was no problem on theirs side. So I tested the modem and found the modem did not work. I made a few calls to them and explained the modem was faulty so they sent a new one. But now my internet connection is intermittent because of this new modem. Telstra should consider not sending these low-end modems for free because they would ruin user experience.
