We have also been having the same problem quite recently. Tried a new modem, complaining to telstra and they said our phone line was fine, changing all the filters over. We were going to be told after getting a new modem that they would call up and check to see if our internet was any better after, it wasn't any better and we also didn't get a call. If this doesn't change soon we might have to cancel and change to another provider. The only difference is that the NBN construction started happening around the same time we started getting these problems but then telstra should just flat out admit this if the NBN is causing these issues.
