gday, generally pretty good service, this is the first time its been dreadful, like cant not use it until it decides to pass some bandwidth.
all started this monday, i am in perth hills.
just wondering if anybody around my area has had the same issues.
ive been on the phone to telstra a few times and they assure me its all fine.......
i am on adsl2 and my usually speeds are 17-23ms ping, 5.7-6.0mb/s DL and .85-.9 mg/s UP.
now its been real bad lately and scoring .5-.1.5mg/s up, 60-140ms ping and UP speed is around the same .86mg/s. and i cant even use it, i have to use my phone sometimes on 4g.
telstra want to get one of their guys out to check out my line, but we all know they are going to say its fine and then charge me, because there was nothing wrong with it. i have ZERO faith in telstra contractors. and they will say "we will be there between 10:20am and 3pm", then turn up in 3 months time.
the net problems are random so its hard to diagnose, some times it drops out all the together and the router red lights.
ive been through my router setup page and all is well. so i have zero clue.
if alot of people are having the same issues, then ill give it some time. if not, hopefully when they test my line, it decides to fault.
