Hi thistlewedge,

Our Crowd Support forums are intended as a place for our customers to discuss various topics and share knowledge rather than being an official Telstra support channel.

These questions can then be managed by both Telstra employees and/or other community members. Its overall goal is to make finding solutions to commonly asked questions easier. This means that not every post will receive a response from a Telstra employee and there is no guaranteed time frame for a response from a Telstra employee.

Looking back over your posts, I can see that your last response on 10/06/15 advised that you were about to contact a third party to address your concerns about congestion. Any investigation started by the TIO would supersedes any assistance that we can offer via Crowd Support and customers have the right to escalate any concerns to them if they feel that they are unable to get a resolution via normal and complaint processes.

I can advise that Telstra continues to monitor the network and plan upgrades to help alleviate congestion, but unfortunately we cannot upgrade all exchanges at once. You can find a spreadsheet detailing the current planned upgrades here: http://telstrawholesale.com.au/download/document/tw-report-backhaul-upgrade.xls

The above spreadsheet is updated regularly as DSLAM upgrades are approved and the work completed.

If you wish to discuss a rebate for your service, this is best done via a formal complaint. This next link will provide more information on this process: Lodging a complaint with Telstra

- Shelly
