Ok so after a few weeks of having the internet constantly drop out and when it did work it was only getting link @ sub 1.5Mbits/s ... then magic ... the tech appeared at my door ... sniffed around a bit ... found a connector that had been blown to bits by lightning... then muttering to himself about still not being happy about it(my line) he goes full monkey on several power poles within view and then disapears. I think magic ... I have a 15Mbits/s connection that's only dropping out every few hours...
Then the very next day, it gets to about 11am and BAM my connection goes and I'm back to a 1Mbits/s connection if it decides to get link at all... and if it links above 1.5Mbits/s then expect it to drop within a minute.
So wondering if it's time to contact the ombudsman... I mean I haven't heard a thing from telstra since the tech left and as you can see I obviously have some line or port issues and yet I seem to have been placed on the don't care anymore pile. At the very least some restitution is in order as this has been going on for over a month making our connection uselss.
Can currently only post on here because I seem to be at a lucky point where I can get that magical?!-link @ 1Mbits/s :
